The KOMBI 3D Experience
Regular maintenance of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) equipment is a necessary and extremely critical part of ensuring your Duty of Care for the well-being of your employees.
Often equipment is in confined areas with limited space or requires work to be carried out at height as machinery and plant may be located on roof tops.
The Work Health and Safety Act 2011 states: "A person conducting a business or undertaking must ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, that the health and safety of other persons is not put at risk from work carried out as part of the conduct of the business or undertaking."
With the introduction in many states of new Workplace Manslaughter Laws there has never been more importance placed on providing safe and compliant access to these areas.
Access to HVAC equipment needs to be provided by simple to use systems which give workers the peace of mind that any hazards or risks are mitigated. Personnel who are performing HVAC maintenance need to be able do so easily and safely without having to use equipment that requires advanced user training. This access is most commonly provided by stairs, elevated walkways and platforms.
There have been many situations where emergency maintenance work has to be carried out only to find frustrating time delays, due to problems accessing the machinery. Additionally issues can arise when the systems that have been installed are ineffective or worse still, dangerously non-compliant.
Manufactured from lightweight aluminium, KOMBI modular access systems are fully engineered and designed in accordance with Australian and New Zealand Standards AS 1657 and AS/NZS 1170.
Delivered as flat packed access systems to site, KOMBI can be easily adjusted using the patented KOMBI T-Bolt. With many configurations held in stock, shortened delivery times can be provided. For customised options please speak to our KOMBI team on 1300 301 755.
